Globe trotting is what I do, aye

Intrigued
I'm not sure I hate formal events anymore, I'm not. The food was good, that it was, and me ma was too distracted the whole time to get after me, she was! But I'm glad to be back, that I am. Getting up early in the mornings might not be me thing, no, but anything to do with the weather lights me day, aye.

Besides, I have friends here, that I do. I think I'll be flying a kite tomorrow in the park, aye. So if anyone wants to catch me, they know where to find me, that they do!

Wait, you went back to Ireland? Was there a wedding or something?

How is it that you always manage to seem so carefree when you've got the same kinds of responsibilities that I do?

Aye, the youngest of me sisters, Siobhan, got married, that she did. She's been seeing the same guy since high school, which means she really doesn't know what's out there, no. He's nice, he is, just a wee bit boring.

I know I'll get the things done, I do, so what's there to be worrying about? If I do me best, and cover me responsibilities, there's nothing more to be doing, that there isn't, so ye might as well be carefree, aye!

Well, so long as he'll treat her right and she loves him, that's really what matters, isn't it? I guess congratulations are in order for the extension of your family. ^_^

But how can you know that things will get done? I mean, there's always the possibility of something coming up unexpectedly, so.... I don't know. I guess I just worry about my responsibilities too much. ^_^'

It's most of what matters, aye. But he's an accountant, he is, and he finds his job exciting. She's going to have a dull life, that she is. But thank ye for the congratulations nonetheless, aye.

I know the things will get done because I get things done, I do. Aye, something could come up and disrupt plans, it happens, that it does, but there's no way to prepare for it, no, so why worry about it? There's not a thing ye can fix with worrying, there isn't. Breathe, I say. Fly a kite too, aye.
